Join Spotlight Retail Group as a Senior Digital Designer in a 12-month fixed-term maternity leave cover with potential for permanent conversion.
In this hybrid position, you will lead our talented team of Digital Designers as they create visually stunning assets for our retail brands: Spotlight, Anaconda and Harris Scarfe. Collaborate closely with Brand Marketing, Content, and Studio teams to execute our digital design strategy and deliver exceptional creative work.
What you will be doing
- Strategic Leadership: Drive the digital design strategy and ensure seamless execution across all brands.
- Team Management: Mentor and guide your team, fostering a collaborative and creative environment.
- Workflow Optimization: Streamline processes, improve efficiency, and stay up-to-date with the latest tools and platforms.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and deliver high-quality work.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to develop engaging and effective digital campaigns.
- Creative Execution: Design and produce visually impactful digital content that resonates with our target audience.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain meticulous attention to detail and ensure all work meets the highest standards.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Visual Communication (Graphic Design/Multimedia) or equivalent.
- 6+ years of experience in digital design within an agency or fast-paced retail environment.
- Proven expertise in digital and social channels (Facebook, Instagram, email, display, and e-commerce).
- Proficiency in Adobe CC Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, XD, Dreamweaver, Bridge).
- Strong understanding of frontend coding (HTML5) and digital processes.
- Experience with animation software (After Effects, Animate, or equivalent).
- Knowledge of responsive, UX, and conversion-focused design.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
